What would happen to Remus (or any werewolf) during the eclipses?
I had a very simple one-liner idea about Sirius finding a romance novel about werewolves and reading it aloud and making fun of how wrong it is. Then I started thinking about representation in fiction and interacting with texts. And then it became this:One cold October day the book…
- hermione: remus lupin is a werewolf harry!
- harry: what?! how did you work that out?!
- hermione: *looks into the camera like the office*
Headcanon that it wasn’t just Remus’ physical condition that deteriorated around the full moon, but also his mental state.
He would get bouts of mild depression where he just couldn’t get out of bed. When this happened the Marauders would skive their lessons and crawl into his four poster with…
after the war, lavender is cursed. though she survived greyback’s attack, the scars that covered her body were more than skin deep. the first full moon was a week after the battle of hogwarts, and she barely survived it. st. mungo’s sent her to a lycanthropy recovery ward, claiming they could help her control the wolf inside. after months of therapy and medications that only made the wolf more angry, she finally escaped and found peace with herself and her situation. with the help of parvati, luna, and even hermione, she found a different lycanthropy recovery group that was focused on helping, not hurting. eventually, she became an essential member of the group, and would go on to lead the meetings. her inspirational story— fighting alongside the chosen one, surviving both a war and a werewolf attack, and finally coming to terms with the wolf that she now was— touched the hearts of everyone she met. she wanted there to be more resources for those affected by lycanthropy, however, and so she started her own clinic, became a licensed therapist, and went on to change the lives of countless young werewolves for the better.
and when the moon is full, she lets her other self run free.
SORRY but not sorry
I can only apologise.
This guy just needed a hug forever. And ever. And ever.
Sirius Black is dead and fictional but if I’m being 100% honest, I’d marry him if he asked.
